Notorious thief arrested

(Siasat News): Marredpally police has arrested a notorious thief who used to steal the ATM cards to withdraw the money.

Police said that the accused A Ravinder, 42, resident of Bosareddyguda, West Marredpally, entered an ATM centre of Bank of Baroda situated near Jubilee Bus Station and stole the ATM card of one Smt. Anjali Devi and later withdrawn a sum of Rs. 22,000.

In a similar case, the accused had withdrawn a sum of Rs. 3000 by stealing the ATM card of one M Lingam in Mahboobnagar in the month of July. Police identified Ranvinder with the help of CCTV footage and recovered the stolen ATM cards and money.

Police further said that the accused had committed similar crimes in Siddipet too. Further investigations are on.

Man ends life after row with wife

(Siasat News): A man, who had exchanged heated argument with his wife, hanged himself to death. This incident occurred in Balanagar.

The deceased was identified as one Narayana, 54 who had hanged himself with a tree. He was driver by profession and has been residing in Balanagar.

However, he had a very bad habit of consuming liquor everyday and that too overdose of it. Moreover, he used to fight with his wife a lot under the influence of alcohol.

Yesterday, the same scene was created and both husband and wife started fighting. A dejected Narayana later went out of the house and hanged himself with a tree.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Gambling den raided

(Siasat News): Medchal police in Cyberabad limits raided a house and unearthed the gambling den being run there for quite some time.

This operation was conducted after police had received a tip-off. 18 persons are arrested whereas Rs. 35,000 in cash and 8 cellphones were also seized.

However, the police did not disclosed the identity of the arrested persons and said that it was also revealed that some other such gambling dens are also running illegally and the crackdown operations against them is very much on the cards.

Two die of burn injuries

(Siasat News): A woman and a girl died of burn injuries sustained accidentally in two different incidents in the city and the outskirt area.

According to Chandrayangutta police, Farhana Begum. 22, was the daughter of one Abdul Ghani of Naseeb Nagar in Chandrayangutta.

On November 12, this girl had sustained severe burn injuries and was admitted to the hospital where she died during the treatment last night.

In the second incident Miyapur police said that the deceased Suchitra, 75, wife of one Anil Sen, had sustained severe burn injuries during the fireworks on the occasion of Diwali.

She was under treatment ever since but last night she succumbed to her injuries. Police has registered both the cases.
