Car hit youth, dies

(Siasat News): A youth was severely injured when he was hit by an unidentified car at Tondpally in Shamshabad.

As per the details, the deceased Dashrath, 19, started his journey from Mahboobnagar along with some other people to Hyderabad to bring Ganesh idol ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi Festival.

However, Dashrath asked his DCM driver to stop the same near Kishanguda Flyover Bridge as he wanted to urinate. He and other people got down from the van.

In the meantime, a speedy car hit all of them. It was nearly 1 am in the midnight and the visibility was very poor. Dashrath died on the spot whereas three other persons sustained severe injuries. They are shifted to private hospital.

Dashrath’s dead body was handed over to his relatives after post mortem. Shamshabad sub-inspector Mohd. Ahmed Pasha has registered a case and a manhunt is launched to trace the car driver who is absconding.

Two women commit suicide

(Siasat News): Two women committed suicide in two different incidents occurred at Hayathnagar and Meerpet in Cyberabad police limits.

According to Meerpet police, one Aruna, 30, was the wife of one Venkatesh of Jalalguda. She was under mental pressure and yesterday, took the extreme step of ending her life.

Hayathnagar police said that 35-year-old Varalaxmi was the resident of Bata Singaram. She was also under mental pressure.

On Septemnber 10, she had attempted suicide and was immediately shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment.

Police has registered both the cases and further investigations are on.

Conmen arrested

(Siasat News): Two conmen comprising of son-in-law and father-in-law were arrested by Chaderghat police for duping youths in the old city to the tune of lakhs of rupees on the pretext of sending them abroad including US, Malaysia, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.

According to the reliable sources, the accused Mohd. Gafoor and Mohd. Mukarram, residents of Srinagar colony, Madannapet collected lakhs of rupees on the false promises.

When the youths realized that they were duped, they lodged a complaint with Chaderghat police.

A case was immediately registered against them and Chaderghat police arrested the duo and seized 30 passports from their possession.
