Woman alleged husband selling daughter

(Siasat News): A woman alleged her husband for selling their infant daughter and lodged a complaint with the police.

Farheen, the wife of one Ilyas of Resham Bagh in Golconda, contacted the police and alleged that her husband had sold their infant daughter for a mere Rs. 20,000. Earlier, the Golconda police had not paid any heed to her complaint.

So yesterday, Farheen reached DCP, west zone, Mr. Venkateshwara and narrated the entire story. She also spoke to the media. The duo had love married but this was not confirmed.

They have two children and the infant that was allegedly sold, their third child. Farheen’s health had deteriorated during the birth of third child and she was almost slipped into coma.

However, when her health condition improved, she realized that some of her relatives had taken her thumb impression on a blank paper and that must be the agreement of selling their infant.

When inspector Golconda, Khaleel Pasha was contacted, he told that police is investigating into the complaint of Farheen.

One dies in road accident

(Siasat News): A student was killed and another injured when an auto trolley hit them near flyover at Kishanguda in Shamshabad.

According to the details, B Rahul Siddhartha, 19, B.Tech II year student along with his friend Vishnu Reddy were riding a motorbike.

Near Kishanguda flyover Rahul tried to take a U turn when a speeding trolley coming from opposite direction, hit the vehicle inuring both of them.

They were shifted to Osmania Hospital where Siddharth was declared dead and Vishnu was shifted to a private hospital where his condition is reported to be critical.

Shamshabad RGI police has registered a case.

Black Marketers arrested

(Siasat News): The south zone team of Task force has arrested three persons involved in the black market of ration rice and kerosene.

It is said that Imran Alam, 28, resident of Azmath Nagar, Yakutpura, Mohd. Sardar, 55, resident of Riyasath Nagar and Mohd. Majju, 32, resident of Chandra Nagar, Yakutpura were involved in the black market of ration rice, kerosene and pulses.

Task force has recovered 85 quintals ration rice, 2 quintal Tur daal, 1 quintal wheat and 30 litres kerosene.

Task force had conducted these raids with the co-ordination of Civil Supplies Department and arrested persons are handed over to the concerned police stations.

Gambling Den unearthed

(Siasat News): Task Force sleuths have raided a house at pensionpura in Langar Houz that was used as a gambling den and arrested the owner of the house.

It is said that Amjad Ahmed Khan, 36, resident of Langar Houz, has been running the gambling den with the help of his other six accomplices.

On a tip-off, Task Force sleuths conducted a raid on Amjad’s house and arrested all six other persons and seized an amount of Rs. 1,25,000 from their possession.

The arrested persons were later handed over to Langar Houz police.
