Passenger held with gold at airport
(Siasat News): The custom officials at RGI airport arrested a passenger with 3 kgs gold. The passenger had landed at Hyderabad from Dubai through an Emirates flight.
During the custom check, a passenger was intercepted and questioned by the officials. He could not give any satisfactory reply.
Over this, he was again checked by the officials and this time 3 kgs gold recovered from his shoes. He was immediately arrested.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Man dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A man died in a train accident when he was trying to cross the railway tracks between Dabeerpura and Malakpet railway stations.
According to railway police Kachiguda, the deceased Mohd. Salim, 40, was the resident of Chanchalguda and has been working as a private employee.
He was crossing the railway tracks but did not notice that a train was fast approaching. A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
Thief arrested, stolen bikes recovered
(Siasat News): The crime team of Madhapur police has arrested a thief and recovered eight stolen motorbikes.
Police said that the thief Durga Prasad, 22, was found roaming in suspicious manner. Police arrested him on suspicion and started grilling him.
He was a bit confused and could not reply properly that heightened the suspicion of the police.
He was further interrogated and ultimately, he confessed to his crimes that were committed in Miyapur and Madhapur. Police also recovered eight stolen motorbikes out of nine.
Man’s suspicious death
(Siasat News): A man died in suspicious circumstances at jawahar Nagar in Cyberabad.
It is said that the deceased Syed Hussaini, 50, was a labourer and residing at J J Nagar. He was working in an under construction building yesterday but had fallen from the second floor of the building in suspicious circumstances.
Hussaini was severely injured and was admitted in a hospital where he died during the treatment last night. Further investigations are on.
