Crime graph has gone up in Bihar, says Sushil Modi

Patna, Aug. 6 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushil Modi on Thursday described the killing of his party colleague in Patna as an extremely sad situation and alleged that ‘ jungle raj’ has returned in Bihar. He said the Nitish Kumar-led government is unable to stop crime in the state.

“This is a very sad incident. Such incidents are occurring all across Bihar. This government is unable stop crime…Crime in Bihar has gone up since 2005. People of Bihar are scared….Jungle raj has returned in state,” Modi told ANI.

BJP leader Avinash was shot dead at around 6.30 am in Patna today. The incident took place at Salimpur Ahra area of the city. (ANI)
