CPI-M asks Gaddar to decide on Warangal LS bypoll

Telangana State CPM secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram has said there should be a clarity within two days on whether balladeer Gaddar would contest in Warangal Lok Sabha by-election or not.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday after participating in party’s comprehensive meeting, Veerabhadram said the Communist parties had decided to field Gaddar in Warangal Lok Sabha byelection, but the latter has not given his consent yet. He said it was atrocious on the part of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as the latter was not caring about 1400 farmers’ suicides in the State.

Stating that Swachh Telangana has become a ‘Dattata Telangana’, Veerabhadram alleged that the KCR’s all schemes were only publicity stunts. The Chief Minister failed to solve and understand the problems of the farmers and the crisis of farming, he said and alleged that the Chief Minister was creating confusion while failing to rule the State even after 15 months. He also questioned KCR as to why he was not giving Rs 5 lakh ex gratia to kin of deceased farmers while his AP counterpart was doing so. He also said the Left Parties Public Front was getting ready to wage a war against the “anarchic” rule of TRS government. (NSS)
