Costa `privileged` not to be dropped before Tottenham clash, says Mourinho

London, Nov.30 : Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that Diego Costa should consider himself `privileged` to have been included in the team for all the Premier League matches after he was eventually dropped during his side’s goalless draw against Tottenham.

The 27-year-old, who scored only one goal in last eight matches, expressed his frustration at being dropped by tossing his substitute’s bib in the direction of the manager.

Reflecting views on the same, Mourinho said there is no problem between him and Costa, adding that he has a good relation with the striker, the Guardian reported.

He further said that dropping Costa would have helped him to know how team wants him to perform.

Describing Costa as a `positive` player, Mourinho said that the former is physically fit and working well.

The Portuguese manager further said that he is happy with his current team and is looking forward to the upcoming matches with a better spirit.

Chelsea are currently languishing down to the 14th spot in standings, with just four wins from the 14 games which they have played.

They will next lock horn with Bournemouth on December 5. (ANI)
