The TPCC has extended solidarity with Nizamabad district Collector Yogitha Rani on the verbal attack by TRS leaders.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Sunday, TPCC chief official spokesperson Dasoju Sravan said the ruling party MLAs and public representatives lashed out at Yogitha Rani for examining quality of developmental works after completion in the Zilla Parishad meeting. The TRS government was transforming Telangana State into another Bihar, he added.
He further alleged that the ruling party leaders lashed out at the district Collector for trying to curb sand smuggling by installing check posts. “Verbal attack by ruling party leaders against the Collector is undemocratic and unconstitutional”, he stated. He also deplored that the State government didn’t react on the allegations that a minister was behind suicide by sub-inspector Ramesh Naik in Ranga Reddy district. He feared that Telangana State may outshine Bihar State in mafia activities. (NSS)
