Cong, TD destroyed T state: Ministers

Ministers G Jagadish Reddy and Dr C Lakshma Reddy today accused the previous governments of neglecting people, farmers and health sectors in Telangana. They were addressing a public meeting at Ubhaya Samudram after laying a found stone for water grid works in Nalgonda along with Panchayat Raj Minister, KT Rama Rao.

Speaking on the occasion,  they criticized the Congress and the TD rulers for destroying Nalgonda district  for six decades depriving it of safe drinking water, irrigation, agriculture, health and welfare. The Congress is noted for corruption and it  has no right to talk against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Throwing a challenge for  a debate on projects,  they said that the opposition came to roads as they could not debate in the  Assembly session on crucial issues. KCR has guts to say  that he will not seek votes if he failed to provide safe drinking water to the people.

Expressing concern on farmers’ suicides, they said that the government is preparing a long term plan to check the malaise. They attributed the fluoride problem and farmers woes to the dereliction and inefficiency of the previous governments. Had these governments taken care of farmers, agriculture, irrigation and health sectors,  the people will not have suffered the present problems, they stated. Entire state was destroyed by them and health sector was collapsed,  they said. It is unfortunate that the opposition is alleging that the Government did not send proposals seeking Centre to set up AIIMS in Telangana,  they said adding that they also received a reply. They took exception to the opposition for making baseless allegations on the TRS Government. KCR Government introduced many schemes including Aasara pension scheme which is giving lights to many lives, they claimed.(NSS)
