Cong Bandh in M’Nagar Dt –Buses off- the Roads

The Congress party cadres in Mahabubnagar district observed bandh on Saturday protesting against the attack on Makthal MLA Ch Rammohan Reddy (Cong) by Atchampet MLA Guvvala Balaraju(TRS) on Friday during the ZP meeting.

Nearly 900 RTC buses of nine bus depots in the district were confined to depots as Congress leaders staged sit-in since early in the morning. The Congress cadres organized huge rallies across the district raising slogans against the TRS government. On this occasion, the DCC president Obaidullah Kothwal demanded the government to initiate action against the TRS MLA Balaraju.

Speaking to the media, Kothwal alleged that the ruling party leaders attacked another Congress MLA G Chinna Reddy in Ghanapur mandal in the past.

Reiterating his demand for arrest of TRS MLA immediately, he alleged that the ruling party MLA has ‘murdered’ democracy by his action.

D K Aruna Demands KCR’s Apology

Former Minister DK Aruna has asked the government to initiate action against the Atchhampet MLA Guvvala Balaraju for slapping her brother and Makthal MLA Ch Rammohan Reddy.

Speaking to the media, Aruna demanded the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to tender an apology on the incident. She stated that it was not proper on part of an MLA to attack another MLA by abusing in the name of caste. She asked the Chief Minister to explain as to how Bangaru Telangana is possible with such MLAs. (NSS)
