A delegation of BJP leaders today demanded the Election Commission to postpone MLC elections under local bodies quota. The BJP leaders met Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal at Secretariat here and urged him to see that the GHMC elections are first conducted by postponing the MLC elections for 12 seats announced on Tuesday. Keeping in view the court direction the officials should first conduct the GHMC elections in December next and then MLC elections they said. (NSS)
