Computer training to visually impaired, Siasat to donate 3 computers

Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan Managing editor Siasat Daily visited Ideal Information Centre (IICD), Safa Arcade (Mehdipatnam) and spoke to visually impaired youth. IICD offers computer training to blind youth. Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan was amazed to see their interest in computer field and told that Almighty Allah has given them many hidden potentials, making use of which they can get employment. Chairman IICD and city president Jamat-e-Islami Hind Greater Hyderabad Hafez Rashaduddin, Irfan Maniyar, Naveed ur Rahman, Khaleelur Rahman, Tabrez Bakhshi and others were present on the occasion.

Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan announced to donate 3 computers to the centre and advised the students to register their names with Telangana Public Service Commission so that they can avail government jobs. He further informed that Siasat is striving day and night to promote students educational abilities and link them with employment.

Mohammed Irfan bin Hamed Al-Hamoodi who is the student of BA final year told said he suffered from pneumonia at the age of 4 years since then he has lost his eyesight. In spite of that he continued education. He got bronze medal in International Blind and Deaf Judo Championship held in Hungary in December 2013. He also bagged gold medal in national championship. He told that his father is a vegetable vendor. He had appealed for financial assistance from government but the matter is still pending. He had also made representation with Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana but to no avail.
