New Delhi: A Special Court on Thursday ordered framing of charges against former coal secretary H. C. Gupta in connection with the coal blocks allocation scam.
The charges will be framed against Gupta on October 14.
The court had yesterday pulled up the CBI for not filing complete set of documents with the final report in a coal scam case in which former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda, former coal secretary H.C. Gupta and seven others have been put on trial.
The case pertains to alleged irregularities in allocation of Rajhara North (Central and Eastern) coal block in Jharkhand to Vini Iron and Steel Udyog Ltd( VISUL).(ANI)
