CM sanctions 1600 more houses for Khammam

Telangana Government today reportedly allotted 1600 additional double bedroom houses to Khammam district under housing for poor scheme. The allocation was made in addition to 400 houses already allotted to every Assembly segment in the State when Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao called on Chief Minister K Chandrasekahr Rao here.

The Chief Minister learnt to have agreed to allot 1600 more houses for the district when the minister urged him. They also discussed on the issues such as water grid, survey for Dummugudem projects and housing for poor. Tummala apprised the Chief Minister of these projects and sought his cooperation for speedy completion. KCR is learnt to have asked the minister and officials to speed up the works. (NSS)
