Civil Society members visit OGH, raise voice against demolition

Civil Society members including senior citizens who had witnessed Nizam’s era looked angry over the decision of State government to demolish Osmania General Hospital.
In this connection heritage lovers and civil society members on Tuesday assembled in large numbers outside the OGH heritage structure to make themselves heard.

senior Communist leader and national president Tanzeem-e-Insaaf Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha, former MP (Rajya Sabha), HAS India chairman Maulana Syed Tariq Quadri, noted historian Mr. Sajjad Shahed, president HELP Hyderabad Mr. Major Quadri, social activist Jasveen Jeerat, Forum for Better Hyderabad Mrs. Sanghamitra Malik, Mr. OM Dabeera, Dr. Gopal Kishan, Prof. Vishweshwar Rao, Convenor SC ST BC Muslim Forum Mr. Hayat Husain Habeeb, CPI South Zone convenor ET Narsimha, Mohammed Afzal, Mohammed Bilal, S Q Maqsood, Abdur Raheem Baig Tipu and others reached Osmania General Hospital where police stopped them from entering the old building of the hospital which created tension for a while.

The leaders claimed that KCR failed to fulfill his promises. He once again ignored public sentiments and raised Osmania General Hospital issue. They told ‘it seems that someone is giving wrong advices to the CM as a result he himself is becoming the cause for his disrepute’.
