Aiming at providing education to minority youth of old city Hyderabad, Minority Finance Corporation has decided to conduct SSC exam coaching with the cooperation of city police. Minority Finance Corporation has issued Rs. 20 lakh to city police in this connection so that coaching can be provided in various places of old city for important subjects like, Science, Maths, Telugu and English.
Police has begun special campaign to curb social evils and anti-social activities among youth in old city under which it was proposed to Minority Welfare Department to help in beginning educational activities. Commissioner Police Hyderabad claimed that most of the youth in old city are involved in various anti-social activities and are SSC dropouts. They drop out after failing SSC exam and get attracted towards various evils. If they are encouraged to pursue education, the new generation can be protected from evils.
Minority Welfare Department agreed to the proposal and issued fund through Minority Finance Corporation.
