Former megastar turned Rajya Sabha member and Congress leader K Chiranjeevi today lashed out at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the latter has to feel shy and feel disrespect at himself.
Addressing the meeting organized at Kondamarla village in Ananthapur district here on Friday after 10 km padayatra of AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Chiranjeevi alleged that the Prime Minister destroyed the rural economic system. Due to NDA government’s behavior, four lakh people in Ananthapuram district migrated to other places for livelihood as the Centre removed NREGS works. “For this, Modi has to feel shy and dishonor”, he alleged.
Ridiculing Modi’s claims of poor people’s government and farmers’ government, Chiranjeevi suggested the farmers not to lose bravery and said the Congress party would stand beside the farmers. He said the Congress party would come to power whenever it assured the farmers. (NSS)
