Hyderabad : Hyderabad Traffic Police will announce traffic policy within a week. Autorickshaws are banned around Charminar. City Police Commissioner, Mr. Mahinder Reddy held a high-level meeting of the police officials and Zonal Commissioner of GHMC in which Charminar Pedestrian Project was revived. He requested the people to cooperate with traffic police. He also assured the traders transacting business on footpaths that their business would not be affected. It is probably that the new traffic policy would be implemented from the first week of August.
