Chandrababu arrives in city after a long gap; meets Guv

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu today called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here. The meeting though a formality, assumes significance as Chandrababu returned to AP Secretariat after about three months of gap.

Union Minister Sujana Chowdhary accompanied the Chief Minister, who had a hectic schedule on Saturday. Chandrababu Naidu met the Governor and is understood to have apprised him of the governance from Vijayawada, capital city construction, discussed key issues and touched upon current political scenario in the two States and his plans of schemes and programs. He reportedly spoke about the winter session of Assembly in Hyderabad.

Naidu’s return to the city gets importance after accompanying his family members for a tonsuring ceremony of his grandson Devansh at the abode of lord Venkateshwara in Tirumala on Friday. (NSS)
