Chand Nawab of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ fame roughed up by police in Karachi

Karachi: Railway Police roughed up senior reporter Chand Nawab and his crew when they arrived at the Karachi Cantonment Station to uncover a case of corruption today.

The senior reporter and his team members were beaten up by railway police when he arrived at the station to investigate the sale of train tickets in black, in which several railway officials were said to be involved, reported Pakistan media.

Pakistani citizens have reportedly condemned the incident. The railway department in Sindh province has ordered a probe into the matter.
Nawab shot to fame when actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui played his role in the blockbuster movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.

He initially became famous a few years back when a video of him getting agitated after he was unable to finish his news byte due to people blocking his view in front of camera went viral on social media sites. (ANI)
