Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya on Sunday stated that the BJP-led NDA Government was not discriminating against any State in the country.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday, Dattatraya denied allegations leveled by Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao wherein he accused Modi of discriminating against Telangana. He said that the Prime Minister was treated all States equally. He said TRS leaders were leveling baseless allegations against the BJP Government only to gain mileage in Warangal by-elections.
Dattatraya said that the TRS Government did not declare drought hit districts which delayed Rs. 230 crore subsidy from the Centre. He said that the State Government does not have the proper list of farmers who committed suicide. He also denied allegations that the Centre was not buying cotton from the farmers and said Rs. 10,000 crore have been earmarked by the Centre for this purpose. (INN)
