Can’t remove 60 yrs misery in a day: KTR

Panchayat Raj and IT Minister K T Rama Rao today said that they can wipe out in a single day the prevailing deep rooted poverty, illness and miserable conditions in the state.

Addressing a public meeting at a Grama Jyothy program conducted at Kurthi village of Pitlam mandal in Nizamabad district, he attributed these perennial miserable conditions at rural pockets to the six decades long negligence and apathy of the successive governments. Now we are at helm are planning cautiously to address the issues in a phased manner KTR maintained. The minister criticized the previous rulers of looting the funds and deceived the people of the region. We are cleansing the sins of the past rulers and it is getting delayed to address all the needs of the people KTR said. Instead of criticism the opposition can give constructive ideas he suggested.

KTR announced sanction of water plant for the village from Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Foundation besides providing all facilities one by one. He found fault with the opposition for making a hue and cry only to prevent welfare schemes as that will hamper their future politics. The Congress and others cannot find any plausible way if these developmental works reached the poor and the needy he observed. Telangana is on top at national level to implement welfare schemes and introduced the best industrial policy and will supply nine hours power to agriculture besides giving priority to drinking and irrigation water sectors he maintained.
