Hyderabad: Congress MP, Mr. G. Sukhender Reddy challenged the Govt. of Telangana for giving cabinet status to its Advisors. His petition was heard in the High Court yesterday and a notice was issued to Govt. of Telangana to file counter affidavit. The pleader of Govt. of Telangana sought permission from the court to give some more time for the submission of counter affidavit. The High Court adjourned the hearing till 31st August. In his petition, Mr. Sukhender Reddy contended that there is not provision to accord Cabinet Minister’s status to the advisors of the Govt. It is a strange procedure adopted by KCR which is unique.
