Burqa clad women come forward for the progress of nation

Hyderabad: The campaign launched by Siasat Urdu Daily for 12% reservation for Muslims is gathering momentum in various districts of Telangana. Burqa clad women are also associating with this campaign in large numbers. Signature campaign and submission of memoranda to various officials and peoples’ representatives is in progress. This campaign is being organized at places like Nagar Karnool, Nizamabad, Bhainsa, Armoor etc. At Khammam, Relay Hunger Strike was started on 28th November. It completed 5 days yesterday. A large number of Muslim and Non-Muslim members attended the meeting and promised to be with the Hunger Strike campaign. The leaders told that a large number of Muslim youths are unemployed. Its only solution is to provide 12% reservation for Muslims.

They also told that Mr. KCR who wants to present Muslims as an ideal community, should make Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Kerala as a model where the scheme of reservation is being implemented successfully. It is incomprehensible that why can’t it be implemented in Telangana? The dilly-dallying policy of the Govt. is not appropriate.

A meeting of the local Muslims was held at Nagar Kurnool to mark the completion of three years of Muslim Rights Sadha Samiti.

Congress started post card campaign. Many persons are sending post cards to CM with their names and addresses.

In Bhainsa, the effect of the campaign launched by Siasat Urdu Daily was seen. Many Muslim organization and their leaders are associating themselves with this campaign.

In Armoor, Mr. Mohammed Fasihuddin, President of Anjuman-e-Tanzeem-ul-Muslimeen told Mr. Syed Zafar Ali, Correspondent of Siasat Urdu Daily that TRS Govt. is deviating from its election promise made to the Muslims. He further told that the Muslims had not demanded for it. TRS included this issue on its own. The Govt. is wasting time under the pretext of Sudheer Committee Report. It should have formulated BCs Commission to get recommendation from it.
