BMW, Mini to be costlier by 3 percent in 2016

Gurgaon: BMW and Mini vehicle prices in India will rise up to three percent from January 1, 2016, the company announced on Thursday.
“The increase in prices is in continuation of our endeavour to offer the most aspirational and exceptional products to our customers and on adding more value to their overall ownership experience,” said BMW Group India president Philipp Von Sahr in a statement.
Currently, the German auto giant locally produces its vehicles BMW 1 Series, BMW 3 Series, BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, BMW 5 Series, BMW 7 Series, BMW X1, BMW X3 and BMW X5Aat its Chennai plant, while BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, BMW X6, BMW Z4, BMW M3 Sedan, BMW M4 Coupe, BMW M5 Sedan, BMW M6 Gran Coupe, BMW X5 M, BMW X6 M, BMW 6 Series Individual, BMW 7 Series Individual and BMW i8Aare available as completely built units (CBU).
The company has 39 BMW sales outlets across India.
BMW Group also offers four Mini vehicles in India – Mini 3 door, Mini 5 door, Mini Convertible and Mini Countryman via four exclusive outlets in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
