BJP’s plan B is to create ‘communal friction’: Rahul Gandhi

Madhubani (Bihar), Oct. 29 : Launching a frontal attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was attempting to create communal friction among different communities for political gains.

“Their plan B is to create communal tension among the different communities. Sometimes Modi calls ‘ Mahagathbandhan’ leaders ‘tantrik’ and at times he calls them ‘three idiots’ but the voters are not fools,” Gandhi said while addressing a rally here.

“Wherever Modi goes, he says something, but there is no truth in that because it has been their training,” he added.

The Congress vice-president’s criticism of the BJP comes in the wake of Prime Minister Modi’s repeated taunts at the grand alliance in the poll-bound state.

Gandhi will later in the day address two more rallies in Kishanganj and Katihar districts.

The Congress is contesting 41 seats in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, while the JD (U) and RJD are contesting 101 seats each.

Election in Bihar is being held in five phases between October 12 and November 5.

The counting of votes will take place on November 8. (ANI)
