BJP will be wiped out from Telangana: TRS MLC

Hyderabad: TRS senior leader and MLC B Venkateshwarulu on Sunday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party would be wiped out of Telangana if it continues to oppose the TRS in the State.

Addressing a press conference at the TRS Legislature Party office here, Venkateshwarulu condemned BJP leaders for criticising the TRS Government over the issue of municipal employees. He said that the BJP has been trying to gain mileage over the issue in view of forthcoming GHMC elections. He said BJP was not strong in the State and has been trying to survive with the support of ‘scam-hit’ TDP. He said Telangana unit of BJP enjoys no clout at the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre. If Telangana BJP is so powerful, it should convince the Centre to hasten up the bifurcation of High Court.

Venkateshwarulu said the performance of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been appreciated by several senior BJP leaders including Chattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh and Union Minister Prakash Javedkar. He advised the Telangana BJP to learn from their senior leaders and accept the reality. (INN)
