BJP unleasing RSS terror in Kerala: CPI(M)

CPI (M) today accused BJP of unleashing RSS terror in Kerala out of frustration that it failed to win even a single Lok Sabha seat in the state.

Countering charges of BJP president Amit Shah that CPI (M) used violence against his party workers to curb the spread of their ideology, the Left party claimed the situation was the other way around and that 197 Communist workers were killed by Hindutva outfits between 1968 and 2005 in the state.

CPI (M) charged RSS-BJP with being “purveyors of hate and violence but acting as victims”.

“#BJP has zero parliament seat in #Kerala. It is frustrated & unleashes #RSSTerror on people. But it can’t weaken Kerala’s secular fabric.

“Ironic purveyors of hate and violence are acting victims. 197 #CPIM comrades martyred by #BJP & #RSS b/w 1968-2005. #RSSTerror. Question to Amit Shah: why did #RSS and #BJP kill #CPIM workers?” CPI (M) asked in a series of tweets.

The Left party also shared a district wise list of number of its workers allegedly murdered by RSS-BJP in Kerala.

CPI (M) added its functionaries were killed as they had “heroically” resisted the spread of “divisive” thought RSS and BJP represent declaring “the fascists shall not pass”.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the exhibition ‘An Untold Story of Intolerance: Communist violence in Kerala’ earlier in the day, Shah accused CPI (M) of using violence against BJP workers to curb spread of their ideology, especially in states like Kerala.
