BJP trying to provoke communal tension in name of beef: CPI

Hyderabad: BJP was trying to provoke communal tensions in the country in the name of cow slaughter and (eating) beef, CPI General Secretary S Sudhakar Reddy alleged here today.

“BJP leaders themselves set up meat related factories, but they are trying to provoke communal tensions in the country in the name of cow slaughter and on beef,” he told reporters.

Top BJP leaders praise Mahatma Gandhi and B R Ambedkar but the party leaders like Sakshi Maharaj announced that he would install statues of Nathuram Godse, he charged.

CPI tried to offer an alternative to BJP and the Congress in Bihar elections, he said.
