The Telangana BJP and the TDP which cried war against the TRS government for its alleged failure to address the problems of the farmers have now written a letter to Telangana State Cooperative Bank to take immediate measures to mitigate the farmers’ problems.

The BJP and TDP leaders have demanded that the cooperative bank waive Rs one lakh crop loans of the farmers at one go and re-schedule the remaining amount after waiving the loan. They also demanded a moratorium on private loan recovery.
The signatories of the letter are: BJP floor leader Dr K Laxman, MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, former MLA Baddan Bal Reddy, Telangana TDP president L Ramana and E Pedda Reddy. (NSS)
