BJP MP terms Najeeb Jung as `Super King`, says he must be removed

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Udit Raj on Friday described Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung as a ‘ Super King’ and called for his removal.

“LG doesn’t listen to me. He is the super king. He doesn’t talk to me. I can’t reach to him even for 3-4 days. He doesn’t even share his contact number with the MPs. There are only 60 MPs. If you can’t talk to them, to how will you talk to the people?” Raj told ANI.

“Action should be taken against the DM. I have written 11 letters regarding this but I haven’t received any reply,” he added.

District Magistrate of North-West Delhi Sanjay Goel was allegedly beaten up by supporters of Raj on Thursday in his office at Kanjhawala in outer district for removing an encroachment in a village.

The Delhi Police registered an FIR after the District Magistrate (DM) lodged a complaint that he was roughed up and pushed around by supporters of the MP and villagers following which Parminder and his supporters were booked.

” BJP MP Udit Raj’s personal secretary and his supporters barged into my office and threatened to beat me up. They also held me hostage for some time,” said Goel.

“An FIR has been filed against Parminder for attacking me. I also have CCTV footage of the incident,” he added.
