National Vice President of BJP Minority Morcha FS Laeq Ali sent a letter to Chief Minster of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao and demanded 20 Cr rupees for Muharram. He stated that ashurkhanas in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and districts of Telangana were in miserable condition. They needed whitewash and repair.
A copy of the letter has also been sent to Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali. Mr. Ali further told that only one month was left for Muharram to begin; hence orders should be issued for repair and renovation of Ashurkhanas and digging up of bore wells.
