BJP Mahilas tie Rakhis to party leaders, workers

Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated various programs for development of women and poor people.

Participating as the chief guest in Raksha Bandhan program organized by the State BJP Mahila Morcha at the State party headquarters at Nampally, Venkaiah Naidu exhorted people to live together, irrespective of their caste, creed, religion and region.

A larege number of Mahila members tied rakhis on the wrists of BJP leaders and party workers. Union minister Bandaru Dattatraya, BJP Telangana president G Kishan Reddy, BJP national secretary P Muralidhar Rao, Party floor leader Dr K Lakshman, Greater city president B Venkat Reddy and others attended the Raksha bandhan program.

Meanwhile, Bandaru Dattatreya along with Lakshman attended another program organsied on the occasion of Rakhi Poornima festival. Both distributed free PM Suraksha Bheema premium at Arundhatinagar slum area near Ashoknagar Sub-registrar office. (NSS)
