BJP leaders absence at Mufti’s iftar party shows ‘lack of coordination’: NCP

New Delhi:The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Monday said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders move to skip the iftar party hosted by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in the national capital reflects the lack of coordination between the coalition partners.

“Considering it is an official government function, the BJP leaders decision to not participate is very unfortunate. It only manifests some kind of a lack of coordination between the two major parties which are running the Jammu and Kashmir administration,” NCP leader Majid Memon told ANI here.

“In fact last evening when Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had arranged an iftar in Delhi, no other BJP leader except one was seen attending which only shows that there is something amiss and very uncomfortable in the present coalition rule between the PDP’s leadership and the BJP,” he added.

Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh was the only leader present from the BJP in the iftaar party hosted by Mufti yesterday.
