Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday celebrated Telangana liberation Day to mark the merger of erstwhile Hyderabad state in the Indian Union. National flag was hoisted at party headquarters in Hyderabad at the beginning of the celebration. State president G Kishan Reddy and BJP floor leader Dr. Laxman led by Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya demanded that the day is celebrated officially.
TRS has ignored the demand made by BJP and others for official celebration of the day. BJP leaders alleged that TRS is under MIM pressure.
