The nine -year-old child’s murder has shocked everyone, which has become hardened to numerous cases of witchcraft and brutal killings.
The father, named as Girijesh Pal, a resident of Jamaura village in Sikandra Tehsil was aspiring to become a tantrik (occultist).
On Saturday, Sept 5 night, Girijesh reportedly took her nine-year-old daughter Khushi, outside his house and killed her by hitting hand pump on her head. When blood started oozing out of her body, then the monster man collected the blood in a plate and started drinking it.
At the time of the incident, his wife had gone to a nearby temple along with her two sons-Aman and Ankit to celebrate Janmashtami festival. Shell-shocked by her husband’s horrible act, his wife raised an alarm and alerted her neighbours. Locals beaten him and handed him over to the police.
