Network of International Legal Activists (NILA), in association with Tharuni and Vasanthalaxmi Charitable Trust, is organizing ‘Bikethon-2015’ on Sunday on the occasion of International Girls Day from Charminar with slogans of ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padavo’ and ‘No Girl-No World’. Some 200 bikers will participate in the Bikethon.
Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, State Women Commission Chairman Tripurana Venkatarathnam, Hyderabad Additional Commissioner of Police Swathi Lakra are expected to participate in the program. The Bikethon will end at Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet.
Organisers Dr T Vasanthalaxmi Ravikumar and Dr A Mamatha Raghuveer have said they were organizing the Bikethon to create awareness among the people to ‘Save the Girl Child’. They appealed to the people to participate in the program and make it a success. (NSS)
