Bihar won’t vote for BJP despite PM Modi’s lucrative offers: NCP

New Delhi: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Saturday said that people of Bihar are not going to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi announcing lucrative schemes for the state.

“Rahul has again spoken about ‘suit boot ki sarkar’. But we believe that the BJP has broken the promises made to people before Lok Sabha elections. We believe that the BJP has no place in Bihar despite lucrative offers made by Prime Minister Modi,” NCP leader Majeed Memon told ANI.

Elections for the 243-member Bihar Assembly will be held in five phases between October 12 and November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.

The term of the current Bihar Assembly comes to an end on November 29. (ANI)
