Bihar Elections 2015: It’s a big fat zero for Mulayam Singh’s Samajwadi Party

Samajwadi Party did not win even a single seat in Bihar assembly elections.

The party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Sunday congratulated Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on the victory of the grand alliance in the assembly polls. “Netaji had called Nitish and Lalu and congratulated them for their victory,” a party leader said.

SP state chief and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and senior party leader Shivpal also congratulated the grand alliance for its thumping victory in Bihar. “Congratulations to Nitishji and Laluji on their historical victory,” Akhilesh posted on Twitter.

SP was initially part of the grand alliance but later pulled out of the grouping and contested the Bihar elections alone.

The JDU-RJD-Congress alliance is set for a massive victory in the 243-seat Bihar Assembly polls, trouncing the BJP-led grouping.
