Bihar battle: Nitish reminds PM Modi of Vajpayee’s 2002 ‘rajdharm’ advice

Patna, Aug. 9 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s jibe at his party, saying the whole country is aware of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 2002 ‘rajdharm’ advice.

“@narendramodi with regard to subjugation and oppression, the whole country is aware of Vajpayee ji’s advice to you regarding ‘rajdharma’ after 2002,” Nitish said on twitter.

“First DNA, and now dubbing Bihar as ‘Bimaru’ and Biharis as unfortunate, you have proven your prejudice towards people of Bihar,” he added.

Not sparing BJP president Amit Shah, Nitish said, “You said that people come out of jail with vices. Please tell us what vices your jail-returned party president Amit Shah has got?”

In a direct attack on the Janata Dal (United), Prime Minister Narendra had earlier said that the former stands for ‘Janata ka Daman aur Utpidan’ (subjugation and torture of people).

“I am reiterating what I said last time – RJD means ‘Rozana Jungleraj ka Darr’. JD (U) stands for ‘Janata ka Daman aur Utpidan’ (subjugation and torture of people),” Prime Minister Modi had said at his mega ‘parivartan’ rally in Gaya. (ANI)
