Bhatti asks TS Govt to regular fee in private schools

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday urged the State Government to take stern action against the managements of private schools who were collecting huge amounts towards fee and other charges.

Speaking to media persons, Bhatti said Santosh, a 10th Class student, committed suicide due to alleged harassment by his school management over fee. He said this incident should act as an eye-opener for the government. He reminded that the TRS has promised to introduce KG to PG free education. However, even after 15 months, nothing has been done in this regard.

Bhatti said if the State Government would have launched KG to PG free education scheme, then Santosh would not have had committed suicide. He also demanded strict implementation of Right to Education Act. (INN)
