London: Barcelona started off their Champions League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Roma at Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday.
Luis Suarez’s free kick put Barcelona ahead in the 21st minute, the Guardian reported.
Roma’s midfielder Alessandro Florenzi scored the equalizer in the 31st minute. It was Florenzi’s first goal he had ever scored in European competition.
Both the teams made several efforts but failed to extend their score in the second-half.
Barcelona will play against Bayer in their next Champions League clash.(ANI)
