Bangladesh A scores modest 228 against India A in first unofficial Test

Bangalore, Sept.27 : Sabbir Rahman’s sparkling century helped Bangladesh A to score modest 228-run in their first innings against India A in their first unofficial Test here at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.

Opting to bat first, Rahman remained unbeaten at 122, including 23 fours and a six.

Shuvagata Hom (62) and Nasir Hossain (32) also helped their side to accelerate their innings.

Meanwhile, opener Anamul Haque and Soumya Sarkar got dismissed for a duck and skipper Mominul Haque scored meager two runs before getting out to Varun Aaron.

From Indian side, Jayant Yadav and Aoron clinched four wickets each while Ishwar Pandey and Abhimanyu Mithun also shared two wickets between them.

At the time of reporting, India A were chasing the target and scored 26 for not out.

Opener Abhinav Mukund and skipper Shikhar Dhawan were at the crease unbeaten at ten and 12 respectively, thus leaving India A trailing by 202 runs.(ANI)
