Meerut: Balraj Dugar, State Convener of Bajrang Dal said that if the love between boy and a girl is true, religion should not come in their way. He suggested the Hindu girls not to convert to Islam after marrying Muslims boys. It will stop “Love Jihad”. He question the Muslim boys, “Why would they force the Hindu girls to change their religion after marriage?”. He also said that he would make a representation to the President of India to prohibit religious conversions after marriage. People should have a right to marry anyone irrespective of religion.
According to the news published in TOI, a Hindu girl eloped with a Muslim man. Later they were found at Vasant Vihar in New Delhi. Soon after receiving this report BJP, Bajrang Dal and VHP leaders held a meeting on Friday at Shamli district’s Kandhla town over this issue. VHP and Bajrang had declared that this was a case of “Love jihad”.

Later, Dungar told media persons that he is not an enemy of love but it was clearly a case of “Love jihad”.
