Job Description
1. Capitalization of assets from capital work in progress
2. Depreciation calculation
3. Asset retirements / sales entries of all regions
4. Asset transfer entries from one location to another in SAP
5. Provide the asset values of asset transfer notes
6. Clearing the customer balances for asset sales in sap
7. Collection and filing properly of all fixed asset invoices
8. Ensuring adequate insurance coverage of Fixed Assets
9. Co-ordination with the locations and projects department for capitalization of assets
10. Capitalization of Borrowing cost
11. Accounting of subsidy on assets
12. Impairment of assets
13. Preparation of Capital budget vs actual report
14. Co-ordination with IT people for fixed asset reports / rectifications in sap
15. Co-ordination with internal and statutory auditors
16. Visits to plants / locations for physical verification of assets
17. Asset reconciliations with physical verification report
18. Numbering of Assets

Education-
UG: B.Com – Commerce
PG:MBA/PGDM – Finance, M.Com – Commerce
Doctorate:Any Doctorate – Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required
Graduate / Post Graduate in Commerce with 10-15 yrs of experience in Fixed Asset Accounting in a large scale industry.
Candidates who are having the Manufacturing industry back ground shall be preferred.
