The Business Advisory Committee, chaired by Assembly Speaker S Madhusudhan Chary, on Wednesday decided to conduct the monsoon Assembly session for 10 days.
The session, which commenced on Wednesday, will resume the sittings on September 29. There will be holidays on 2nd, 3rd and 4th October on account of Gandhi Jayanthi, Saturday and Sunday. The House will resume sittings again on October 5 and will continue till October 10.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Leaders of Opposition K Jana Reddy, floor leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao (TDP), Dr. K. Lakshman (BJP), Akbaruddin Owaisi (MIM), Ravinder Kumar (CPI) and S. Rajaiah (CPM) attended the BAC meeting. (INN)
