Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi, MIM M.P. of Hyderabad attended Iftar Party in Bengaluru on Friday. A larger number of people attended the party. Many people were trying to get a glimpse of Mr Owaisi.
It may be mentioned that Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru had imposed a ban on public meetings of MIM in February. Mr. Owaisi pulled a large crowd at the Iftar parties held at Meerut and Agra in UP.
Although the visit of Mr. Owaisi was announced only before the day of the Iftar party, more than 6,000 people gathered to see him. The dargah of Abu-al-ala where Iftar Party was arranged in Agra was full of people. Mr. Shaukat Ali was the organizer of this program.
It is worth mentioning that public meetings of MIM were banned by the local official at Allahabad recently. It is understood that during the course of Iftar parties, Mr. Owaisi told that local leaders to get ready to fight General Elections to be held in UP in 2017.
Mr. Shaukat Ali, Convener of MIM in UP State told that MIM has established district-level offices in 42 districts of UP. It has enrolled 3 lakh members and it has recorded presence at booth-level in nearly 25 districts of UP.
