APCC leaders held in Patna Express for canvassing against PM

APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy today exhorted people of Bihar not to trust the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.

Raghuveera Reddy participated in a campaign against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Patna Express Train, which left for Patna from Secunderabad Railway Station on Sunday. He suggested to the people of Bihar to reject NDA nominees in the elections. Raghuveera Reddy and other Congress leaders explained to Biharis, who left for Bihar to exercise their franchise in the polling, that the Modi government was not honoring its promises like special status to AndhraPradesh during the bifurcation of the united State. They also alleged that the Modi government will deceive the people of Bihar with regard to special package announced much before election notification issued.

While the Congress leaders campaigning against NDA in the train, police entered the scene and arrested APCC Chief and his party leaders stating that they have no permission for election campaigning in the train. Later, the police released them on bail.
