APCC demands White Paper on power sector

The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Wednesday demanded that the TDP Government release a White Paper on the energy sector.

Speaking to media persons at Indira Bhavan here, APCC Chief Spokesperson Tulasi Reddy and former MLA Vishnu Kumar said that the TDP Government has failed to overcome the energy crisis in the last 15 months. They demanded that the government release a White Paper to give real status on demand-supply position. They also accused Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of having failed to get AP’s due share in Godavari and Krishna Rivers.

Tulasi Reddy also accused Naidu of creating hype around Polavaram project, which they claimed was approved by the previous Congress Government. (INN)
