AP suffered Rs 3760-cr loss, Naidu tells Central team

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today said Andhra Pradesh has suffered a huge loss of Rs 3,760 crore due to the recent heavy rains and floods.

The Chief Minister informed the Central team, which visited the rain-affected areas in the State. The Union government has deputed a team to assess the loss in the State following rains and floods. The team members today called on the Chief Minister at Vijayawada.

Naidu also informed the Central team that four districts bore brunt of the floods and rain havoc and urged the Centre to extend liberal financial assistance to help the affected people. (NSS)
